Tropic Skincare & Haircare ♡

Hey Guys,

I'm trying to up my hair game, because I'm not going to lie to you, I don't neglect my hair, but I don't use any treatments or oils etc. I simply wash and go, but as of late, I've been trying to spend more time and effort on my and I have to say, I'm loving it. A few years ago, I applied Coconut Oil but then I stopped, I can't remember why, probably because I couldn't be bothered. But now, everyone raves about what Coconut Oil has done for their hair, so I'll probably be purchasing a jar soon. Anyway, today's post is all about Tropic, a new brand to me, so here's a little round up of a few of their Skincare and Haircare Products ...

THIS HAS CHANGED MY LIFE. Sorry to be dramatic but it has, it has truly changed my hair game. Remember that French Pharmacy blog post I did? This one, where I featured the NUXE HP Oil, this treatment gets that amount of rave and love. See I got so excited about it, I haven't even explained what it is. Essentially, its a conditioner, a very thick one at that. I shampoo and then apply this to the ends of my hair, I only take a little amount because of its consistency and trust me a little goes such a long way. Here's the best part, when your hairs all dried, you are left with the most beautiful, soft and smooth hair. Believe me when I say that after using the treatment, its the softest my hair has felt in what feels like forever. The very first time I used this and felt the effects, I took a snapchat of the bottle and simply wrote to my friends 'YOU GUYS NEED THIS IN YOUR LIFE'. I wasn't exaggerating lol. So now that I'm writing this post, you guys need this, yes neeeed!

Face Lift Brightening Tightening Mask (£16.00)*

I was looking at the ingredients in this mask and I love when I can recognize the list, a few well known ingredients such as Tumeric, Glycolic Acid and Vitamin E are included. As well as an ingredient I had never heard of (until I googled it), Sea Buckthorn Extract and I was like, what, what is this, I like saying it out loud because it rolls off the tongue nicely lol. But I was so shocked because I was like, what an earth is Sea Buckthorn! Anyway, it turns out that it has a few amazing properties such as slowing ageing etc. Have you heard of Sea Buckthorn or used it before? Onto the actual mask, you apply and keep it on for around 15 mins and rinse. It feels a little tingly upon application but its a good mask, like many, my skin feels fresh and smooth after.
Tamanu Healing Balm (£32.00)*

Onto an ingredient that I know and I love; Tamanu! I discovered it last year I believe and genuinely fell in love with its properties. I remember ordering the oil Amazon and I couldn't wait for it to arrive, it took a few weeks to see the effects but I loved the stuff and still do. That's why I was so excited when it came to testing this. Its a balm that can help repair damaged and scarred skin. I apply only to a popped spot and it helps heal it over night. I continue to use it on the spot the following nights and it truly does reduce any scarring and redness. The spot definitely wouldn't heal this quick by itself for sure!
Hair Smooth Radiance Oil (£24.00)*

I used this on days that I didn't use the Conditioning Treatment because then I wouldn't be able to test it correctly lol. But I can say that I get on with this stuff well, really well. You can use it four ways, 1) Leave in hair treatment 2) Pre-Cleanse: use on dry hair before washing 3) Pre-Blow Dry, spritz onto dry hair and 4) Finishing; use on the ends of the hair to give your hair that oomph and shine. I like using it as a treatment because that's where I can get the full benefits. I leave it in for 20 minutes and then wash/condition. It gives my hair a lovely amount of softness and a great deal of shine, which I really can't complain about!

Which product do you like the sound of?
