One Brand Skincare ♡

Hey Guys,

What's your take on using a cleanser, toner, serum etc from one brand? I've never done it, until now, well not in that order, I've been trying a few products from Antipodes and I've been pleasantly enjoying the products. I remember wanting to use all the products from one brand ages ago but couldn't let go of a few products I was using at the time lol. I guess whatever works for your skin eh? You guys probably know by now that I get a little nervous testing skincare because I don't have the best of skins and I'm scared if a new product/s make it worse or aggravate it. Nevertheless, I took the plunge with a new Cleanser, Serum and Eye Cream and now they've firmly become a part of my nightly routine ...

Antipodes Juliet Skin-Brightening Gel Cleanser (£25.99)*

This is a simple gel cleanser, its quite standard, damp the face and then work the cleanser in and rinse with water. It takes me back a few years when I didn't use a cloth/cleanser. I wasn't sure how I'd get on with this, after two weeks of using it at night, I did get 2-3 breakouts annoyingly. I don't know if that was down to eating way to many chocolates or the cleanser itself. They were annoying and even though I wasn't aware of the cause, I wanted to stop using the face wash, but continued, and now we're all good. I like it, it makes my skin feel clean and fresh. It smells incredible too, its packed with all natural ingredients, from antioxidants, to Kiwi to Honey, which adds a soothing and calming effect. I have Combination Skin and after a month of usage, it hasn't made the oily nose or dry cheeks any worse. I don't use this everyday, on days where I'm wearing light makeup and can't be bothered with a deep cleanse. I simply wipe everything away with the Garnier Micellar Water and wash my face with this.

Antipodes Apostle Skin-Brightening Serum (£44.99)*

I love a good Serum, I was never that 'into' them but over the past year, I'm all for them. This one would become a part of my 'Serum's you need in your life' List, if I had one lol. It's just so good, I love that it applies easily, it has a good texture and works into the skin nicely. It smells a-m-a-z-i-n-g too. Its helped to brighten my skin, my skin has an even skin tone, and although it hasn't completely evened out my skin tone, I have noticed a slight difference in that aspect. Yes, its pricey, but when you find a skincare product that works for you, you're likely to purchase it again, if possible. That's what I'll be doing, once this is finito, I'll be ordering a bottle.

Antipodes Manuka Honey Skin-Brightening Eye Cream (£35.99)*

Manuka Honey based skincare has been on the rise lately, I've seen quite a few bloggers who enjoy using Manuka Honey Skincare, but I haven't given it a proper go myself. This eye cream is probably the first, and it's okay. I mean nothing's going to get rid of my dark circles, this doesn't do much for around the eyes, apart from adding a lovely moisture to them. I see it as one of those products I love to apply, even if it hasn't had much of an effect. I apply it at night and it just feels good. It's creamy and you can take as much or as little as you wish.

Antipodes Rejoice Light Facial Cream (£28.99)*

And finally we have a moisturiser, I wasn't sure how I'd get on with this purely because I've used the Olay Beauty Fluid for absolutely ages. The first time I tried this, it was a formula I'm not used to, because the Olay cream is loose in texture, whereas this is a lot thicker. However, it was easy to work into the skin and gave a good amount of moisture and softness. But because I'm so used to the Olay fluid, I don't think this is for me :(

There we have it, a little run down of Antipodes Skincare!
