6 Product theBalm Cosmetics Face ♡

Hey Guys,

Continuing on from Tuesday's theBalm Post, I'm back with another 6 Product Face, a series I started last year and it has become quite popular amongst you all. It's basically where I create a little makeup look using products from one brand. I'll be sure to leave links to the other posts right at the bottom but for today's post, I'll be creating a makeup look using products from theBalm! I was a late bloomer to theBalm Products, I always saw the products online and on social media but I could never hunt them down, I didn't know where they were sold, until I spotted them in a larger Superdrug Store one day, after swatching a few things, I finally got what all the hype was about! I mean, the Mary Lou Manizer Highlighter is such a cult product. Not to mention how amazing the products are packaged, the designs and illustrations are everything 50s, vintage and retro ...

Some days I start with face, some with eyes but today I fancy starting with face, so that's what I'm going to do! I start off by taking a concealer brush to the timeBalm Concealer (£15.29)* and blend it into my skin. I'm not used to using concealers from a little tub, I normally use ones that come in a bottle, so it makes a little change to my routine, but it isn't any harder to use. Just different. In terms of the concealer itself, I like it, its a good texture and consistency, creamy but not too lose and feels smooth! Its a light to medium coverage, but definitely buildable.
Next up, lets go in with eyes and finish the rest of the face later. I still get nervous to apply eyeshadow because I simply don't know if I'm doing it right, which is why I try and stick to natural and neutral shades, but some days I feel adventurous lol. For today's eyes, I will keep I'll be using the Nude Dude Volume 2 Eyeshadow Palette (£31.99)*. It comes with 12 gorgeous everyday, nude/browny shades with a lilac and deep green. I went in with the shades Funny and Fine for my outer corners and smoked it out a little. Then for the inner corners, I used a mixture of Faithful and Fit. To add a little smoke to my lower lash line, I used the shade Friendly.
To finish the eyes, a little swipe of the Mad Lash Black Mascara (£16.75)* is all I need, this is really good. Its not a wet formula, nor too drying, it has that perfect balance! Gives my lashes, tones of volume and length. It also doesn't clump YAAY!
Eyes out the way, let's focus on the cheeks. I never know to powder first or highlight, I've kind of developed a routine of getting rid of any oiliness and then applying highlight on my cheekbones. Which is what I'm about to do, I apply the Sexy Mama Anti - Shine Translucent Powder (£17.50)* all onto my nose and chin, which instantly takes away any unwanted shine. Then to put it back in force, I use the newly launched Mary Dew Manizer Liquid Highlighter (£13.50)* which essentially is a liquid version of the Mary Lou. I can't even tell you all how iridescent and simple fabulous this is, genuinely full of  richness, vibrance and of course, pigment!
To finish and pull the whole look together, I apply the Meet Matt(e) Hughes Liquid Lipstick Shade in Reliable*. A beautiful light pink, I won't go into this anymore because I've written up a full review of this range with a few swatches, which went up on Tuesday!

And there we have it :)
