The French Pharmacy Edit ♡

Hey Guys,

We're fading away from all thing PIXI for the last post of the week, and going into Skincare, French Pharmacy Skincare to be precise. Have you heard of French Pharmacy Beauty? Are you a fan? Well, I sure am, I think my obsession started when the Beauty world raved about the La Roche Posay Serozinc, I simply needed it in my life, but hey, guess what? It was no where to be seen in the UK, however, I came across the Escentual Website, and holy moly, that changed everything. I stocked and stocked up on the Serozinc, I'd practically buy 5/6 bottles in bulk when Escentual had an offer on and keep them tucked away. And then I explored the French Pharmacy Section and its safe to say that it started a full on love for all things French Pharmacy. And so, for today's post, I thought I'd share an ode to French Pharmacy Beauty by sharing 5 great brands Escentual stock. Oh, did I forget to mention that Escenutal currently a 1/3, yup a 1/3 off on all the French Pharmacy Brands ...

NUXE Huile Prodigieuse* Was: £29.00 | Now: £19.33

Now, I'll give you a warning for the amount of excitement I'm about to share. OH.MY.GOODNESS. THIS IS A BEYOND AMAZING, BEYOND AMAZING! I can't get over this stuff, I know its LOVED by many but, I never saw why, trust me when I say, I see it now. Its incredible. See I got so excited that I didn't even mention what the product is. Its a Dry Oil Spray that can be used practically everywhere, face, body and hair. I love it for all purposes. I made full use of it when we had a little heatwave here in the UK last week and I can't even tell you how amazing it made my skin and myself feel. You basically spritz and rub it into your skin and you're left with the most, the most, healthy, glowing, moisturized and radiant skin. I used this before a got a chance to photograph it, and that's a testament to the product as any fellow bloggers reading will know that we like to photograph the product first, I simply couldn't wait. I could go on and on about this, in case you couldn't already tell, but to round this little, or not so little paragraph off, you need it in your life. You really do.
Eucerin Even Brighter Night Cream* Was: £23.50 | Now: £15.66

Eucerin is a brand I've become familiar with through reading blog posts about their products. This is my first product from the brand and I'm slowly getting impressed. This is an Pigment Reducing Night Cream that reduces the appearance of pigmentation spots for an even & bright complexion. I use over my moisturizer during my night time cleansing routine and I wake up with soft and brighter looking skin. This is one of those products that takes time to work and needs strict and continuous usage to gain the full effects.
VICHY LIFTACTIV Vitamin C Brightening Skin Corrector* Was: £28.00 | Now: £18.66

Over the last few months, I've grown to learn about the importance of including some form of Vitamin C into my skincare routine and I now, totally see why. Vitamin C, in general is great for our health but it also does wonders for the skin, it brightens and lifts the skin. I've been using the VICHY Vitamin C Corrector which has 15% Pure Vitamin C, I simply 4 drops to my palm and spread that all over my face at night, I don't really need a lot when it comes to this, a little goes a long way. Over the time I've been using the Corrector, I've noticed a slightly more brightened and even complexion.

DECLEOR AURABSOLU Intense Glow for Eyes, Dark Circle Corrector* Was: £33.00 | Now: £22.00

Since turning 22, I've become slightly OTT when it comes to trying Eye Creams/ Products, I've read over and over again that its best to start using eye creams when you hit your twenties. I think I've tried about 3 Eye Creams, (4, including this one) since Feb and I can wholeheartedly say, this is the best one. Yes, it doesn't eliminate dark circles, nothing does, or will, the sad truth, (urgh, tell me about it), but the main reason why I love this so much is because it instantly hydrates and brightens the under eye area. You don't need a lot when it comes to this, smaller than a pea sized amount, however, I do use slightly more than needed because I don't like to force the product around that area, I want it to smooth out properly, without any tugging.
PAYOT Illuminating Perfecting Serum* Was: £55.00 | Now: £36.66

This is a totally new brand to me, I don't think I've heard of read about it before, but what intrigued me, was A) it as the word 'perfecting' in the title (I'm a total sucker for that word in skincare) and B) the little pearls inside, doesn't it make the serum look luxurious? Actually, when I opened up the box, my dad was like, they look like little white Caviar Eggs haha! Which they kind of do, actually! Okay, so this is a Serum, I use it morning and night before I moisturize and it makes my skin feel so fresh and uplifted. It does have a little fragrance, which normally puts me off skincare products, but I haven't really been bothered by it with this serum.

And there we have it, a little round up of the Brands available over at Escentual. As mentioned before, Escentual currently have 1/3 off all their French Pharmacy Brands, the offer lasts till the end of April, so if you need to stock up on your faves, now is the time. Or if anything in the post has caught your eye, treat yourself to a little purchase, it is a 1/3 off anyway :)
