Cohorted | The January Edit ♡

Hey Guys,

I'm back with another Cohorted Box*, you guys know the gist by now but to anyone whose new around here, firstly, HIII, thanks for popping over, I hope you;ll stick around! Be warned, there are likely to be many exclamation marks, because I'm a bit OTT with them! Anyway, Cohorted, is a subscription box which features well known, as well as up and coming brands. The subscription itself is priced at £35, however the contents and value of the combined products often reaches over £100. The January Edit itself had a box value of £133. Now that's a bargain if I ever saw one ...

Skin Chemist Charcoal Peel Mask: RRP £39.00

There are two masks in the Jan box, so lets start off with this one. Its a Charcoal Peel Mask consisting of Bamboo Charcoal Powder and White Peony Root Extract. Its great for Normal, Oil and Combination skin, I fall into the Combination category and after trying this a handful of times, I can safely say, it has already become a firm favourite. I love peel off black head masks, and this one couldn't be more perfect, you can genuinely see the black heads in the strip when peeled off. It helps minimize pores, exfoliates and cleanses. When I've used this, my skin felt refreshed and like all the gunk has gone!

A Trio of Urban Veda Products

Reviving Body Wash: RRP £12.99
I have heard of this brand and I've seen it floating around Instagram but haven't got round to trying anything from them, so seeing a trio of products was a treat. First up we have an SLS Free body wash which leaves my skin feeling incredibly soft and with a lovely rose and jasmine scent! Its quite creamy, which is fab for nourishing and adding moisture to the skin.

Reviving Body Scrub: RRP £12.99
Guilty as charged, I've become lazy in terms of exfoliating my body, I used to do it once a week but now, I just forget! This particular scrub is quite pleasant, its not harsh, and is of a gel consistency. Just as with the body wash, my body feels quite refreshed.

Reviving Body Lotion: RRP £12.99
I haven't had much of a chance to use this because I'm trying to finish off a few from the Christmas Gift Sets. To me, it's not something that I'm wowed by, nor disappointed. I don't really know what to say, its your standard body lotion, my skin feels moisturised and supple.

Lancome Renergie Multi-Lift: RRP £10.00

I love Lancome, who doesn't? This is a multi-lift day cream that aims to give the skin firmness and tightness, whilst reducing wrinkles. I can't say I've used this religiously but when I have, I notice that my skin is a little brighter.

Sunday Rilery Ceramic Slip Clay Cleanser: RRP £15.00

I got so excited when I saw this cleanser, A) its from an AMAZING brand and B) so many people rave about it, and rightly so. I remember using this a good few years ago when Caroline Hirons mentioned it and couldn't repurchase because I wanted something a little more affordable. However, going back to using this, I soon realized why I loved it. As its clay based, it helps draw out impurities, refreshes the skin (gives it that morning wakeup) and brightens the complextion. Not to mention it has some of the best ingredients. Vitamin C for reduction of discoloration, Black Pepper for circulation, Jasmine to give the skin that soothing feeling and much more!

Wish Formula The Mask with Honey Fermented Serum: RRP £6.00

Fermented huh? Not something I regularly hear or see in Skincare. Its a Korean Brand and I do love K-Beauty, I want to try more Korean Skincare because all it gets is positive reviews, this is not different. Its's a really good sheet mask, the fit is slightly off for my face lol, but that's fine. Its adds a lovely glow to my skin, and leaves it soft!

Marc Jacobs Re(Cover) Perfecting Coconut Setting Mist: RRP £25.00

I have a little beauty confession, I had never used a setting spray until using this one, but I can safely say that I'm hooked. My makeup lasted all day and had this added extra glow, mind blown haha! Not only does my makeup last longer, it looks fresher and doesn't at all feel tacky or sticky. Where have setting sprays been all my life?

And there we have it, which product stood out for you?
