The Forgotten Loves ♡

Hey Guys,

So,  last week I took a little impromptu blogging break because (ooh alliteration) I was in a little rut and I was writing a post to publish but I was forcing it out of me. And I thought, why am I doing that? I shouldn't have to be 'forced' to write, its my blog, if I'm not feeling creative, or what not, just take a break and let the writing/creative block ride out. So I did. I wasn't sure how long the rut would last, thankfully it didn't last too long but I feel much more refreshed and better for it. For any other bloggers out there who aren't getting that urge to write or feeling creative, take that little break, ride it all out and come back with ideas! Anyway, lets get onto the actual post, this one is dedicated to all the beauty products I LOVED but have since forgotten about, I never knew how many there were! The worst thing is, that I absolutely raved about them on the blog and since, they haven't been seen or mentioned ...

Essence 'Bare it All' Lipstick (£2.00)

OMG who remembers this? I was my first Essence buy and I was completely obsessed. It genuinely was my perfect shade, and in fact, still is. I'll tell you why I don't reach for it these days, or any days for a good 2 years lol, its in my coat pocket! And has been there ever since my uni days, I get all ready, face and lippie its all on and then I leave the house, pop my hands in my pocket, find it and go 'dammit, I should've worn this, I'll take it out my pocket when I get home', a good few hours later, my coat is hanged up and I've forgotten. Yup, the cycle has been repeated until this day. Quick review: Creamy, non-drying, a decent pigment for the price, comfortable and lasts 3-4 hours.

bareMinerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream (£28.00)

This, I remember VERY well, because I ranted on the way home after purchasing this and remember going back to the store a few hours later. I just read my rant in the review I wrote here and LOL'd so hard! Its a big ol' rant. Since that day, I have learnt simply to get shade matched in store and buy online, after I've seen the makeup in natural daylight. I purchased this around 3 years a go because I was starting uni and wanted new makeup. I liked this, but I grew out of it.

Maybelline The Falsies Push Up Angel Mascara (£7.99)

I think I got this around June time, I tried it on immediately, snapped my friends and fell head over heels in love. Then I got back into the 'Lash Sensational Zone' and forgot about it. There's a little review here. But in short, love the effect but after 2 coats, it clumps.
MUA Undress Your Skin Highlighter in Iridescent Gold (£3.00)

I used to love and live by this, I stopped when the Laura Geller Gilded Honey came into my life. It just suits my skin tone that little better. However, you can't beat the price, this has insane pigment and a lovely texture!

L'Oreal Colour Riche Lipstick in 636 Mahogany Studs (£6.99)

We started with a lippie and we finish with a lippie, and two lippies that are of similar shades, yup, I have a thing for these kind of deep pink nudes. I think this, although incredibly similar to the Essence one, just lasts longer. They both have the same qualities, ie, comfortable, pigmented etc, its just that this is that little more pricey.

And there we have it, the forgotten loves, what products did you LOVE but have since forgotten about?
