Evening Get Ready With Me ♡

Hey Guys,

I've been wanting to do one of these for ages but my life is never interesting to do one lol. I know, typically, one does a Morning GRWM and then an evening one, but my morning is incredibly boring. I literally wake up, brush, shower, eat and get on with my day, which usually consists of running errands, job hunting and blogging. And my evening is always the same too, but I went out for dinner with family and wanted to put some actual effort into getting ready, so I thought I'd blog about it too! And to follow, I've written an get UN-ready with me for Thursday's post because those are my fave style of posts/videos! So, lets get to it shall we, btw, I apologise for the dodgy selfie lighting, its getting darker earlier in the UK and photo taking isn't so fab ...

Lets start off with Makeup, my face was incredibly simple, just your standard routine:

Base: I dotted the Nars Tinted Moisturiser all over my face and blended it into my skin, and then followed up with a mixture of the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer and the Nars Creamy Concealer, with that little concoction I cover up an spots and acne scars. Then I finish the base with attempting to cover my dark circles, using the Nars Creamy Concealer and the Clinique Air Brush Concealer, yup, I do love my a bit of concealer lol. By the way, my Clinique one is finishing, any recommendations for great under eye concealers??

Cheeks: To add a little tint and flush, I rubbed in the Elizabeth Arden Cheek Tint in Pink Perfection (reviewed here) which I only tend to use on 'special occasions' because its quite glowy and dewy for everyday but I do love it! For bronzer, I applied the Stila Stay-All-Day Face and Body Contouring Bronzer, what a product name, hey? (reviewed here) So, I applied that into the depth of my cheekbone and blended it upwards and into the base. To finish the cheeks, I dusted on my face the best budget highlighter of all time; the Makeup Revolution Highlighter in Golden Lights. This stuff is incredible, like just amazing, and for only £3.00, you can't go wrong!

Eyes: Aaah, I was so excited about this part because I got to play around with the new Urban Decay Heavy Metals Metallic Eye shadow Palette* and it couldn't be more perfect. It contains 20 Metallic Shades, perfect for all things Christmas, Parties, Events and if you're feeling a little fancy. The shades are like any other UD Palette, insanely pigmented, long lasting and blend effortlessly. I wasn't sure whether to use just these shades, as they're metallic and thought it would be a bit much, but hey ho, I did only use this palette lol. I started off with applying the shade Bass all over my lids, then used the Demo shade for my outer corner and for my inner corner, I went in with a red, using the shade Afterparty, I love this shade, its so pretty, not for everyday, but I think I may just be wearing this on Christmas day! To finish the lids, I blended it all in and used the shade Angelfire for my inner corners and underneath my brow bone, and there we have the eyes! PS, can we just quickly discuss how cool this is packaged, I've not seen anything like it, the mirror is surrounded by 10 shades on each side, with the shade name right under it, saves you flipping the palette back and forth!

I completely forgot to mention lashes, I was supposed to put on falsies but I forgot, as I do and thus went in with the Maybelline Lash Sensational Lusicous Mascara (reviewed here) and I won't go into it much, because that post does all the talking!

Brows: I never really go hard on my brows, I don't always fill them in or do much to them on a daily basis, because I always forget, I don't know how, I just do. But when we went out, I brushed a few strokes of the Maybelline Brow Drama through my eyebrows and moved onto the lips!

Lips: To finally finish, I wasn't sure what lipstick to put on, but I wanted something that went with the eyes, long lasting and wouldn't smudge, and for those requirements, they're were only two that called to me, after all, I was going out for an Indian Meal! So I went for the Kylie Cosmetic Liquid Lipsticks  and blended Love Bite and Dolce K, oh hey, guess what, I've only gone and reviewed them here too!

Nails: I quickly applied the imPRESS nails that I spoke about last week and they added a lovely touch. As I said last week, these are quick to apply but do only last a good 3-4 hours!

And there we have it, a get ready with me, evening edition, and if you do have any under eye concealer recommendations, I would love to know :)
