Elizabeth Arden Gelato Crush Colour Collection ♡

Hey Guys,

I'm back with another collection launch post from Elizabeth Arden, you all know how much I love EA, I've written a few posts featuring EA products before, I'll leave them right at the end. But today, I'll be sharing one of their new launches, the Gelato Crush Collection, it features Lipsticks, Lipliners and cheek tints ...

Plush Up Lip Gelato* (£22, comes in 20 Shades)

Lets start off with the lipsticks, and the packaging in particular! The very first I wanted to swatch these, the packaging threw me, completely threw me, to the point where my dad saw me from across the room struggle to open a lipstick and told me to chuck it over lol. He was successful, I, on the other hand, continued to struggle with the other lipsticks. Luckily, I got the hang of it lol, it's not your usual lipstick bullet, the lipstick is in a case almost and you push down on the branding sign. It really is that easy, don't ask where I went wrong.
Enough about the packaging, onto the actual lipstick. Okay, so when I saw the lipstick bullet, I went 'wow, this looks like its rich and full of pigment' and then I swatched and felt disappointed, only because the lipstick swatches really sheer. It's quite a sheer, shiny and transparent lipstick. I was expecting something a little bit more opaque. I think its great on days where I want something really natural, and adds that flush of colour to the lips. In terms of wear and tear, it does last a good few hours, but does transfer. It doesn't feel drying on the lips, which is always a bonus for someone with dry lips, its quite comfortable. My fave part has to be the scent, its really nice and tropical in a sense.
The Shades:
Bare Kiss*: An extremely natural nude, 'your lips but better' kinda shade.
Peach Bliss*: A bright peachy pink.
Pink Lemonade*: A sheer hot pink.

Plump Up Lip Liner* (£17, comes in 11 Shades)
I received the shade Fuchsia Burst and its a stunning fuchsia pink, bright, lively and fun! This is quite a creamy lip liner, applies smoothly and wears comfortably. This has to be one of my faves from the collection because I definitely see that plumping effect, my lips look slightly fuller. One thing I can't fault is the pigment, its there! It's a rich lip liner that bursts with colour, for a little lip liner, I was amazed at how much intensity there is in the shade. This lasts all day, it will not budge, even if you fill in your entire lips with this, it won't be going anywhere! The best part about this? The dual ended applicator, yep, its a dual ended lip liner. One end for the actual liner and the other has a silicone tip to help blend and distribute the product.

Cool Glow Cheek Tint* (£28, comes in 4 Shades)

I don't think I've ever tried a cheek tint, I may have done aaages ago, but I can't remember anything recently. The first thing that hit me with this, is the scent, I love it, I'm rubbish at describing scents but this smells pretty, that's as good as my scent describing skills get lol. This is quite glowy, and pigmented, so a little bit goes a long way. Its adds a natural flush to the cheeks, it applies and blends effortlessly. I received the shade pink perfection and it suits my skin tone perfectly, gives me those rosy cheeks!
