Cohorted | Round III ♡

Hey Guys,

I don't really need to give this one another once over, right? We all know how it goes, Cohorted is a luxury beauty subscription box, featuring upcoming brands and cult high end products! I've written a post about the July and the August Boxes and I was lucky enough to receive the September Cohorted Box*, so lets discuss the hits and the misses ...

CARGO Cosmetics Around the World Eye Shadow Palette: RRP £32.00

Let's start off with the first product that caught my eye, purely because of the size, it was the eye shadow palette. When I saw it, I was like, hmm, the lettering and design is so cute, and then opened it up and went, these are my shades! It's a very neutral palette, perfect for everyday and suited for most, if not all, skin tones. It comes with 12 shades, 6 matte and 6 shimmer and a dual-ended brush. I'll get onto the brush in a minute but lets talk about the pigment, its there and not playing. When I was swatching, I needed very little pressure when rubbing my finger from the shade to my arm which is always a very good sign. Although it lasts a good amount of hours on the eyes, the only annoying thing is the fall out, there is quite a bit of it.

Lastly, the brush. As I said, it's dual ended, one end for blending everything out and the other is an angled brush. The blending brush is really soft and does the job incredibly well, the angled on the other hand, I haven't got on with, I think its just me, because I don't like angled brushes in general.
Smith & Cult: The Shining Lip Lacquer: RRP £21.00

Right, when I saw this, my heart did a little jump, because I absolutely love love Smith & Cult, I know they recently brought out a lip range and was so eager to give something a try. Trust me to think this was Liquid Lipstick, nay, its a lip lacquer, ie, a lip gloss. I'm very fussy when it comes to glosses, I don't get a long with the texture of most, because I find them so sticky and icky, and not the 'Let's get sticky with Mickey' kind (Matilda Reference, soz, it just had to be put in lols). Lets get back to the gloss, this, I have grown to like, I didn't at first because it is really shiny but I love the colour. It gives the lips a lovely natural tint. I like to blot it down with some powder, so I do that thing of putting tissue over the lips and pressing some translucent on top with a fluffy brush, this just helps tone down the gloss. Oh, by the way, its the shade: The Warning
FIGS & ROUGE: Smart Nutrient Vital Moisture Day Cream: RRP £28.00

So this is a Day Cream that aims to deliver instant and long lasting hydration to leave skin smooth and radiant. It also reduces fine lines, I haven't tested it long enough to see the reduction of fine lines lol, but it does instantly hydrate my skin. I feel my skin more lifted and brightened after using this!
Benefit Roller Lash Curling Mascara: RRP £10.00

I'm not going to go into super detail about this because last year, I wrote a comparison post. I compared the Benefit Roller Lash to the They're Real Mascara (linked). And the Roller Lash topped it!
Lica Cole The Good Vibe Discovery Kit: RRP £23.00

When I saw this in the box, I wasn't sure what it was, I was like 'hmm this looks interesting'. It turns out its a skincare trio:

Organic Cleansing Smoothie: Soft and gentle cleanser.
Organic Polishing Polish: My favourite from the bunch, its a gritty exfoliator and left my skin baby soft!
Organic Whipped Butter: I didn't get along with this because I don't really like body butters in general.
There we have it for today, the total value of the box is £114, but retails for £35. If you fancy yourself a box, visit the Cohorted Website.
