Through My Blogging Life ♡

Hey Guys,

You may know that I like to post Tag posts at the beginning of the month, I find its just a good way to get to know the blogger a little more. However, when it came to this months I was stuck, I didn't know which tag to complete, that's where this post came to me. I thought of creating a 'tag', well urm, its not really a tag but just something that anyone can do. Anyway, it came to to mind of all the personal things I've been through whilst I've had this blog, and most of them have probably been shared, but I thought putting them together collectively may be an interesting read. I have had this blog for just over a year now, when I came to think of all the things that have happened, it actually shocked me because I probably would have slapped anyone who told me that they were going to happen. Lets get on with it, I've chosen to pin point three main 'life event's' ...

1. This being the major one, I've spoken about it many a times here and I think if I didn't have this blog, it would have been harder to digest and in all honesty, my blog gave me an outlet to express everything I wanted too and if it wasn't here, I probably would've driven my mind crazy. This blog started late July/ early August 2015, life was normal, family life was normal, I was content. December 2015, my mum was diagnosed with Bowel Cancer, totally hard to deal with but we were told it was an early find, and she would be fine after an operation and chemotherapy. July 2016, my mum passed away, I'm only 20 and I already know its the hardest thing I will ever go through. I won't talk about it a lot, because I have written a few posts, which I'll link below but this was the most predominant event to happen whilst I've been a blogger and something I never thought would happen, I mean who would have!
 Oh Cancer Post
 ○I'm Back & Where I've Been

2. A slight, actually major contrast from the first point but lets lighten it up! I would have never thought being small blogger I would get the chance to work with major brands such as Charlotte Tilbury, Elizabeth Arden or Clinique. I know it may sound silly and stupid but these are brands that have lived through my  family, I mean my mum loved Clinique lipsticks, my aunt loves the EA 8 Hour Cream, so it really was a dream come true.

3. I'm cheating with this point, because I love blogging so much, I'm predicting that when I get complete my degree next year;that will also be through my blogging life. I started uni at the latter end of 2014 and I finish May/June 2017, I mean how have those years flown by, its really crazy when I think about it. And that's such a big thing to me, my education life would have come to an end and I'll be out into the real world, how nutty!! I hope that everything goes to plan so when I look back at this post, I don't look like a complete idiot haha.

That's that for this post, I would love for any fellow bloggers reading to give this a go. It'll be so intriguing to read about what a blogger has been through whilst blogging, I know so many bloggers have blogged for years now, had kids, and been through so much more that I would love to have a read of.
If you do fancy giving this a go, somehow let me know so I can speed over and give it a read :)

Have a lovely day!

  1. I really enjoy personal posts like this, so thank you so much for sharing, hun. I definietly can relate to what you said about uni life... My university years flew by, also, and before I knew it I was already looking for a full time job! It is very intimating at first, but don't worry. You're super smart and lovely, and I'm sure that you're going to find a wonderful job in no time. :) <3 Hope you're well! xoxo

  26. I'm very sorry to hear about your mom. Cancer runs on my dad's side and I've lost a number of family members to it. It's absolutely horrible. Blogging has been really good for me. It gave me an outlet to share my thoughts to others as to what works or not. This was a beautiful post.
