My Updated Makeup Routine ♡

Hey Guys,

I haven't done one of these in ages, hold on let me just check how long its been. Since October, wowzer, my routine has changed bigged time. I just re read that post and its so weird for me to think, I wouldn't leave the house with that routine but now, I'm so happy and confident to leave with just concealer, and that's all I use! I've left a link to my previous routine here: My Makeup Routine

I start off with using only the green concealer from the Collection #concealandlightlikeapro palette, which I've written a review on, right about here: Collection #ConcealAndLightLikeAPro Review . I've really got into colour correcting and always like to use the green concealer to correct any of my red acne scars.
Then I simply apply my favourite ever drugstore concealer, the Maybelline Fit Me concealer in crosses and dots all over my face and it does a pretty good job. It gives a sold medium coverage without looking cakey and pretty much looks like my skin but slightly better.
To cover those pesky under eye circles, I go in with my trustee Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer, I did tell you, all my makeup routine consists of is concealer haha. But I'm on the hunt for a new under eye concealer, one that does a pretty good job, if you have any suggestions, do let me know down below! To finish off the eye area, I coat my lashes with lashings of the Maybelline Lash Sensational, I think I've raved about this way to much on here, but honestly, it is one of the best mascaras out there and for a pretty low price.
And to finish, I apply any lippie, not a specific one, just one I was feeling that day!

And that's it for today's post folks, I'll see you all on Tuesday!

  1. Green concealer is good for under the eyes too, or pink! I have started wearing more make-up recently need to cut down again because I am depending on it too much.

Really enjoyed reading about your makeup routine, hun! x I've never tried the Wake Me Up concealer, but I personally love TheBalm's Time Balm concealer - it gives great coverage without looking cakey. x x I don't think I've ever tried the Lash Sensational mascara, but I've heard great things about it! <3 I'll be sure to give it a shot, so thank you for the recommendation. x Kisses. x

  13. Isn't it awesome to sometimes look back on some of our older posts to see how much our preferences and routines have changed? Definitely one of the many benefits of blogging! I've been using a green color correcting concealer a lot, too, since my skin has been going crazy on me these past couple of months! Thanks so much for sharing your new routine with us, beautiful, and I hope you have a wonderful week ahead!

  15. You are so lucky to need only such minimal makeup but you're such a natural beauty so you can easily get away without any makeup too. I really need to pick up Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer, I love the foundation so I have no doubt i will love the concealer too.

  16. Trishna! What colour is that Clinique lippie in the photo and what do you think of their lipsticks?!? Hehe, want a trustworthy opinion before I invest :P I haven't tried any drugstore concealers since I got one NARS creamy radiant concealer and still haven't finished it yet, although more expensive, I do really like it :)
