If you have read Tuesdays Post about Desk Touches, you kinda would've known that this post was heading your way. I wanted to explain the mood board I had made and placed on my desk because I feel like that way, you all will get to know me that tiny amount more and I guess from this post, you'll know my aspirations! Before I get onto the actual post, I really just wanted to share how much I love mood boards, like oh my goodness, my love for them is unreal and I love beyond anything making them. I love choosing images, textures, patterns, literally anything and somehow combining a way of putting them on a board and making them look aesthetically pleasing. If there was a mood board making job, I'd be on it like a rash haha.
How I Made It:
Because I wanted to make a personal mood board and not one for fashion and interior, I decided to collect images that I find are pretty and inspire me, so I scoured the internet and pinterest of course and got on with it. Pink, I knew had to be included because its my favourite colour, and I knew it'd add a pop of colour, so I opted for pink tissue paper and to add a 3D effect, I stuck on a few buttons and beads from my textiles days!
This one is pretty simple, I have a major thing for trees, I appreciate them for some odd reason and pink trees right in the middle of full bloom, aaah what more could I want. They're so pretty and fairylike, they simply make me happy, so of course, if a real life pink tree makes me happy, why not stick an image of it on my Mood Board!
I haven't met one person who doesn't love London houses, ever since I was a child, I've loved them. They're so classic and pretty, not to mention pretty darn expensive. 20 Grand a month for even a flat in the city, no thanks ... yet! Haha. I love the city and I've always aspired to make a home there, I know its a ridiculously big and pretty crazy dream but hey, weirder things have happened! Here's to somehow making that happen ☺
I LOVE FLOWERS!! Love, love, love the things! They make me so happy and simply add such a lovely touch to anyone's home. And rose gold is one of my all time favourite colours, everything about this picture is perfect!
I think after Tuesdays post, this is pretty obvious. Without repeating myself, a good, clean and lovely desk does wonders to my creativity and imagination!
This one may be kind of odd, even to me it was but flat lays make me really happy, I mean just look at how perfect it is. Now onto actually mastering a flat lay myself!
I really want to get healthy, I'm making slight progress but its hard to cut out everything bad in your life, especially when you live in a family of 6. I know my fridge is never going to be as amazing as this one but because the first thing I see when I get up in the morning is this Mood Board, it'll hopefully keep me on the healthy track for the day, or should I say the next few hours haha!
