My Ultimate 'No Makeup Makeup' ♡

Hey Guys,

Quite recently, putting on makeup has been annoying me, I know it's just a phase but I get annoyed at the fact that I put it on most mornings, my initial thought is always 'urgh do I have too'. But after twenty minutes I feel so glad I did it because you all know my skin isn't the best so wearing it gives me a little boost. However, quite recently I've accepted that my skin isn't great and pretty much don't care about it how it looks or how people may perceive it. I feel liberated putting that out there to the world *punches the air*. That's where this post comes into it because you can still see my skin and scares through the concealer and does provide a little coverage; its my current go to look. It's super simple and honestly takes less than 5 minutes. Let's get on with the post before I actually go off on one haha.

I just spritz The Body Shop Vitamin E Mist first as per usual, then use a hint of green concealer to correct and redness. On top of that I go in with the natural collection concealer from Boots. And just blend away. Once that's done, I combat my dark circles with the (Rimmel, Wake Me Up Concealer) which have gotten darker since I started uni and place a few dots in that region and again blend everything.
I was wondering whether or not to put this step in my routine then thought, 'Trishna you absolutely love mascara how can you not'. So I have done, and using Maybelline's Lash Sensational makes the eyes pop. Lastly, I like to add a little colour to my face and do so with the Carmex Tinted Lip Balm. And that's it, super simple and natural right?.

  2. To me makeup is almost like meditation, I totally enjoy the process, no matter either it is 5 or 30 min makeup look :) By the way, I like Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer too, it is so moisturizing. I especially love applying it in winter, when my skin is a bit drier than usual xx

  7. This sounds like a nice no makeup look! My skin is not doing good recently, it is probably because of the season change so these days I can't go a day without concealer :)

  9. Your 'no-makeup' routine is actually quite similar to mine. :) I just apply a little bit of concealer and mascara, and that's enough for my lazy days! x

  10. Oh girl I have those feelings too! Somedays I wake up and I'm just like, "Ugh, no makeup today." But then after I have a cup of coffee I talk myself into putting some on, and afterwards I'm always ridiculously happy I did. I like that you keep your products to a minimum, makes the routine easy & less of a pain, you know?

  23. Mosr weekends (when I'm not doing a photo shoot) I like to wear as minimal as possible on my face. Your routine is quite similar to mine minus the green concealer. I have heard so much about the Rimmel concelar, I really need to give it a whirl.
